CONGRATULATIONS!
A big thank you and congratulations to Tricia McSweeney from North Marston and Christine Kemp, Hannah Goss and Andrew Swinson from Granborough for representing our parishes at this important event! They've done amazingly, and it was the hottest day of the year! Congratulations to you all on your achievement.
The object of Ride and Stride is to raise money for the repair and restoration of churches and chapels of any Christian denomination in Buckinghamshire. Half the money raised goes to the church or chapel of the participant’s choice, and the other half is added to a general fund which is administered by the Buckinghamshire Historic Churches Trust. Bucks Historic Churches Trust contributed generously with £10,000 grant towards the Tower Restoration Project in Granborough and North Marston church has been promised £1,000 emergency grant towards an investigative work that is urgently taking place. We are very much grateful for the support we have received, recently and in the past, from this charity.
Please contact us if you wish to donate to support our teams. Thank you.
