THE PARISH CHURCHES of
NORTH MARSTON and GRANBOROUGH
St John the Baptist Church, Granborough
St John the Baptist Church has been at the heart of the Granborough Community for over 700 years. It is a place of sanctuary, peace, love and faith, open to everyone.
Worship, welcome, the Gospel and service to the community is at the heart of what we do. Whether it is Sunday services, coffee mornings, looking after the churchyard, visiting people, running a youth group or collections for the Food Bank, in all that we do we think of people in our community and beyond.
You are most welcome to join us for any of our services or events.
SUNDAY WORSHIP
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly,

TOWER RESTORATION PROJECT IS COMPLETED!
It's rather amazing and it's true! We have come finally to the point when the scaffolding has been taken down and the stone masons have done their job. Few more things still need to be finished, as well as the cleaning of the church and taking down the fencing around the church, but these are just minor things and we are ready to celebrate.
On Sunday 22nd October we have marked this important moment with a special service of Thanksgiving for the completion of the Tower Project.
Below, you can see photographs documenting the work that has been done on the tower. An amazing achievement of our community, to see the tower restored.
Thank you all who contributed by prayers, donations, pledges or practical help. We couldn't have done this without you!
But of course, our biggest thanks belongs to God, for his continuous love and faithfulness to us. It is his grace by which we have achieved this momentous task and completed the project, to him be glory, forever and ever. Amen.
